Let’s talk about traffic. Everyone wants more of it. But here’s what most bloggers get wrong: They obsess over getting more pageviews… …but they’re not nearly as focused on what actually makes money once people land on their site. Big mistake. Still, I get it. Traffic opens doors. It gets you on ad networks. It grows your email list. It feeds your affiliate income. It just has to be the right kind of traffic from the right sources. So what’s actually working right now mid-2025? Here are a few sources I’d recommend doubling down on right now: 1) Facebook Pages I know it’s not 2014. But Facebook Pages are driving some serious traffic to blogs, especially if you know how to post the right content, when to post it, and how to automate it. My friend, Kristin Hanes of The Wayward Home has built a very stable audience this way. 🚨 You can get her full course, The Facebook Traffic Goldmine, for free when you join Scale Your Travel Blog before July 31st. Quick tips if you’re using Facebook Pages:
2) Flipboard Flipboard is one of the most underrated traffic sources out there. Stephanie Rytting (another friend + member of Scale Your Travel Blog) has used Flipboard to grow her traffic fast for multiple websites. She created an entire course about it, and you’ll get that one free too when you join Scale Your Travel Blog at the $1997 level or higher before July 31 (which is also the day we will close enrollment for the rest of 2025). Quick tips if you’re using Flipboard:
3) Pinterest SEO Pinterest isn’t dead. Does it have it's ups and downs? Algorithm changes? Of course. It’s a search engine after all. But it’s still one of the best traffic sources for bloggers because Pinterest users are planners, and planners click. The traffic it sends is high-intent and high-value. Our Pinterest readers are worth 2–4x more in ad revenue compared to other traffic sources (check out my screenshot below). That means you don’t need a massive audience, just the right content and a strategy that works. If you’re ignoring Pinterest in 2025, you’re leaving both traffic and money on the table. We teach our full Pinterest strategy inside Scale Your Travel Blog, so if you've been wondering how it works, we can show you the ropes there! 4) Email Marketing This one isn’t just traffic, it’s control. You own your email list. You can send traffic to your website whenever you want, no algorithm needed. We show you how to build it, grow it, and turn it into income inside Scale Your Travel Blog. Quick tips if you’re using email marketing:
What Should You Focus On? Not 15 platforms. And definitely not Instagram (sorry IG.. you’ve never been great at sending traffic to blogs, and you’re still not). Pick two solid platforms (and yes, email should be one of them) and actually commit. Most traffic sources take time. If you’re expecting overnight success, blogging probably isn’t for you. But if you’re willing to show up, test, learn, and build, that’s where the growth (and the money) happens. And that’s exactly what we teach inside Scale Your Travel Blog, step-by-step. No fluff. Just what works. Right now, when you enroll in Scale Your Travel Blog at the $1997 level (or higher) you’ll also get:
And of course, everything Scale Your Travel Blog, including done-for-you keywords and topics, outlines, blog post reviews, group coaching calls, live Q&As, income growth strategy sessions, in-person meetups, and so much more. But this deal ends July 31st. And after that, enrollment closes for the rest of the year. >> Click here to join us! << Talk to you soon, Laura P.S.
