The Easiest Way To Improve Your Blog

The Easiest Way To Improve Your Blog

A few weeks ago, I was approached by a new blogger who wanted his blog to replace his 9-5 income so he could quit his job.

(I get it; I was in that exact same position back in 2014)

He said:

"I know there are a million things I need to figure out to have a successful blog. But can you just give me one simple tip... something easy that will actually help me grow?"

And that's when I told him about internal linking.

Quick pause to tell you about a special discount.

Since I knew I was going to give tips on internal linking, I "linked" up with our friends at Link Whisper to give you a special discount* on their tool that makes internal linking EASY as HECK.

If you want to save a ton of time and boost your blog’s SEO, grab the discount here: Get Link Whisper with Code SYTB*

What’s internal linking?

It’s when you link one blog post or page to another on your own site.

Sounds simple, right?

It is, but most bloggers either forget about it or don’t know how to do it effectively.

And that’s a missed opportunity because:

  • Keep Readers on Your Blog: Internal links guide readers to related posts, keeping them engaged longer (which can/will make you more money)
  • Boost Page Authority: Link your posts strategically to spread "link juice" and help less-visible blog posts rank higher on search engines
  • Help Google Find Your Content: Internal links create pathways for search engine bots to crawl and index your pages
  • Add Structure to Your Blog: Show search engines (and readers) how your content is connected for better understanding and rankings

And the best part is it’s easy to start, even if you’re a beginner.

Here are three simple tips to help:

Tip 1: Link with Purpose (Relevance, Helpfulness, & Income)

When adding internal links, think about what’s most helpful for your reader. Link posts that are relevant to the topic they’re already reading so you can guide them deeper into your blog.

The longer they stay on your blog, the better!

--> Also consider linking to blog posts that drive affiliate income or that make high ad income.

Tip 2: Find Orphan Posts with Google Search Console

"Orphan posts" are blog posts without any internal links pointing to them.

(All posts should have internal links!)

Use Google Search Console to spot these pages and link to them from relevant posts to give them a traffic boost.

Tip 3: Use Link Whisper to Do It 10X Faster

To be honest... hunting for relevant posts and adding links manually takes forever. It really, really does 😩 especially when you start to publish more and more posts.

That’s where Link Whisper comes in 😍

This tool automatically:

  • Suggests internal links based on your content.
  • Highlights orphan posts (the ones with no links pointing to them).
  • Makes linking so easy it feels like cheating.

If you’re serious about saving time (and let’s be real, time is money) while improving your blog, Link Whisper is a must-have tool.

And guess what?

I haggled a special discount just for my audience because I know how valuable this tool can be.

Hey! I was on Threads (Meta's version of Twitter) recently and saw a gal share a screenshot of her blog earnings. She banked a solid $20,580 in one month. And that was only her income from display ads on her blog. That doesn't include her affiliate income. SO many people were shocked by this. And for good reason! Most people don’t realize how lucrative blogging can be. Some even think it’s a scam (which is fine by me; less competition for us, right? 😂). But you’re here reading this newsletter...
